As Thad lays on the floor screaming...the only thing he can do is fight what she has made him see.

Thad: you manage to clear your mind and focus through the overwhelming pain of your memories. You know you'll have to deal with these previously blocked memories soon, but for now you're fine.
You have lost 1 point of sanity for your suffering.
As you shake yourself out of your stupor, you are still on your knees in front of Madam Ladona. It's only been a few seconds. You hear a female voice shout your name and rapid steps moving towards you.
Helena: you rush into the library towards Thad. He's kneeling before Ladona. She is gripping his hands tightly. Her head is thrown back. Wind seems to be whipping around the room. The candles are guttering wildly. You can't tell if she is doing anything to Thad. But with your knowledge of the occult, you believe that what is happening is some sort of true psychic event. As you reach Thad, many things happen at once and time seems to slow down.
Lenny: you glance back into the library and see the scene as described. Then, Helena rushes past you towards Thad. She blocks your vision, so you lean forward and crane your neck to see if Ladona has Thad in some sort of wrist lock. From your distance and the darkness of the room, you can't really tell. But as you lean forward, you shit slightly and cross the threshold of the library. Something happens.
All: as Lenny lean into the room, a drastic change sweeps over the library. The wind becomes a roar, blows out all the candles, and knocks over most of the furniture. Ladona releases Thad's hand and is lifted up into the air about 5 feet off the ground. Her skirt and hair are billowing in the wind. She is glowing in some sort of unearthly sickening green light. Her eyes are completely black. She howls in a voice that is not her own, but is deep and burbling as if speaking through thick mud. "The three have met! The path has been set upon! Let them find the door! Let them see the truth!"
ALL OF YOU ROLL SANITY.

Lenny's steel grit leaves him unfazed by the whirling wind and glowing medium. He grabs his blue fedora to keep it from blowing off.
"Wires and phosphorescent paint, These goddamn swells and their theatrics"
Weather or not he really believes this evident by his blanched color and lump in his throat.
"Damn, I sure could use a trip to the head"

(Didn't save my original attempt at the post but I rolled a 20 for sanity. I swear! You can ask the DM!)
Helena is terrified and somewhat excited. Her heart was beating fast and she can barely breath. Once Ladona releases Thad, Helena rushes up and pulls Thad away. She is just far away from Ladona to have a full view of her when she hears her make her declaration.

Ah Crap...
Thad recovers as Helena pulls him away.
"What the hell is going on?"

You are all shaken by the events in the library, but you muster your courage and push through without any mental damage.
When Ladona finishes speaking, she falls to the floor and collapses in a heap. The wind stops immediately and the room becomes deathly silent. The three of you stare at each other with shock on your faces. After a moment, two servants rush in and flick on the lights. "What in earth happened in here?" One starts to straighten up the mess that the strange wind caused and the other kneels by Ladona. "What happened to the Madam? Is she ok? Does she need water?"
Outside the library, you can hear another servant ring a soft bell and say "Attention guests, dinner is prepared. If you would all please head to the back garden and take your seats, we shall serve you shortly."

Lenny is no stranger to unconscious people, and reaches into the inside breast pocket for the bottle of smelling salts he's kept there since his I'll-fated pre match banter with Bernie "the pachyderm" Ponchetetti. He moves over closer to Ladona, kneeling beside her and passes the bottle under her nose
"C'mon doll, dinners gettin cold."

Lenny: after a few seconds, Ladona comes to.
She looks around, surprised and shocked. "What happened?" she asks. "Was it...the Other?" The servant kneeling by Ladona helps her stand up and snaps at a younger servant standing by the door, "A pitcher of water and a glass. Now!" The youngster runs off and returns moments later with a tray of water and a few glasses. Ladona takes a glass and drinks deeply. "My apologies, all," Ladona says shakily. "While I am well-versed with the psychic nature of reality, sometimes it overwhelms me. I hope I did nothing to harm or shock any of you. I believe I heard that dinner was ready? Let us join the other guests." She walks out of the room, but not quite as gracefully as before.

Thad still feeling the effects of the nightmares he encountered could do no more than watch in wonder at what just happened. As Lenny helped the woman to her feet he headed in the direction to the dining room. He walked by Helena and gestured her to follow.

Lenny takes Ledona by the arm and assists her to the garden. Really confused at how this party has turned out, and looking for someone who might have any medications that might help him enjoy himself more.

You all exit the library and walk through the mansion to the rear exit. The other guests are filtering out through other doors. The back lawn of the Henshaw mansion has been neatly cut into a light checkerboard pattern. There are tables set up in a large "U" shape looking out onto the rest of the property. The area around the table is lighted with small bright electric bulbs hanging from a lattice work several feet above the dining area and by small lanterns that have been set into the ground every few feet. The view is outstanding. The back lawn drops away into a deep slope of grass and flowering bushes. This eventually meets a lush, well-kept forest. Across the tops of the trees, you can see the distant lights of DC burning into the night. It is still twilight, but the moon is rich and full in the sky.
Behind you, the lights in the mansion have been dimmed so that the guests may better enjoy the dinner party. The rear wall of the mansion is all windows, both stained glass and clear. You can see the night sky reflected beautifully in them.
Servants rush back and forth, carrying sliver platters of food to the table. The table is laid with fine china and crystal. William is there, standing at the center chair, welcoming everyone to dinner. Madam Ladona is next to him on his right. He sees Helena and Lenny and gestures for one of them to sit next to him on his left. There is currently an open chair next to this place, as well as an open chair next to Ladona. The food smells amazing. There is roast duck and lamb and veal. There is steaming fresh bread, several vibrant salads, and many different soups. Servants are standing by with bottles of wine and various spirits.
Helena: as you walk out, you don't see anything darting across the floor like you did before, but you have a feeling that you saw a shape crouching behind a heating vent.
Lenny: the servants around the table are acting quite professionally. You can't pick up on any of them that might be holding something stronger than alcohol.

Helena sits down next to Henshaw and takes a few sips of wine. "So Henshaw did you happen to hear what happened in the library?"

Helena: Henshaw looks at you, confused for a moment, then realization dawns on him. "Oh! Madam Ladona. Yes. I hear she is quite popular. I bet all these folks are getting a kick out of her predictions." He leans in a little closer. "You know how fascinated I am with the occult 'Lena, but I get the feeling Ladona is nothing but a huckster. Just like all the others." He sighs and sits back. As far as you can tell, he's being completely honest. But he seems sad.

Lenny leans over his plate to join in on the conversation.
"If she's a huckster she's the best one I've seen in some time, she did an east India float gimmick without a whole lotta prep work. Did it for only a couple attendees too. Rather odd. Must be one of those artist types."
Taking a bite of lamb, Lenny switches tactics to try and get his financial backing. He tries to appear casual about it like he's trying to do the rich fan a big favor
"Say, mister Henshaw, as a wrestling fan, what would you say about getting in on the ground floor of a new angle I'm thinking of? I recon you could put on quite the persona in the ring, and I'm currently in the market for a new promoter or partner, I could even show you a few moves"
